Alma Karan, born and living in south France is basically self-taught but has taken several workshops from well-known artists.
Through the years Alma's artistry has progressed through the crayons of childhood, to soft pastels and acrylics, to her current love of transparent oil flowers. She relishes the challenge of planning her backgrounds, leaving lively shadows, and clear vibrant colors.
