I paint using my intuition and imagination, initially in a purely abstract manner dealing with line, colour and texture. I allow images to be revealed rather than dictating the direction of a painting. As a painting progresses, it may germinate thoughts, ideas or feelings which may then be transformed into visual images. The painting may take many transformations until it arrives at its destination and is complete.
