About Me
I was born in Western Kansas in 1964, but never lived there. I grew up on the Great Plains of the Western United States and along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Since I was a child, I've had a fascination with the vast, untamed expanses of the West, and this has carried over into my work as a painter. Even as the truly wild places become fewer and harder to find, the landscape of the West remains a powerful metaphor in my life and in my work... so much so, that my paintings become less... more
