About Me
I was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada and am a self-taught artist who has been painting passionately for over 20 years. I relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1986. My medium is oil on canvass. My work reflects some of the things I most appreciate in life. Great music from Beethoven to Billie Holiday, the portraits of musicians and classic film stars are frozen in time to express emotions of a performance or convey a mood. Another favorite subject is the magnified splendor of blooms.
