About Me

My aim is to bring poetical visions and paint them with loving dedication to craftsmanship and direct observations of the world. Whenever I sign my paintings I feel to be a fraud who abandoned rather than completed his work. There is always more that could be improved, which would lift the painting from the mire of mediocrity.

Hey there Henryk! Your work is fascinating, and great fun if you don''t mind my saying so. Went to your website, what a trip. You''ve got one of the richest imaginations I''ve seen in quite a while.

A wildly delicious imagination with a story to tell and art to entertain and entrance. Given your war experience in Poland, is it not astounding how you have created your own world full of colour and humour. The ever resilient soul. Both Dürer and Hieronymous Bosch come to mind when I view "Hortus Mirabilis", but without the suffering or guilt. There are both pleasure and humour in the "Okra Smugglers". Thanks for inviting us into your world. - Allan

Henry, I think I was an okra smuggler in a past life. Your website is mind boggling at warp speed. What a feast.
