About Me
Inspiration for this series I call ShimmerTown began when I visited the big city as a
child. I grew up in Colorado. Family visits to our Chicago roots showed me a
whole new world of huge buildings, exciting lights at night and
shining, rainy reflections by day.
Now, years later, I am a painter rediscovering inspirations that
I've carried within me from those early days of wonder. I believe
everyone has a special connection to a glowing place that holds a
