About Me
Inspired by nature, for me it is the interaction of visual forces: light, colour, and form.
I am continually striving to achieve new depths to my work, treating these forces as ultimate identities, and freeing them from all descriptive and functional roles.
My approach to painting is best summed up by quoting the words of August Macke: “A painter paints the appearance of things, not their objective correctness, in fact he creates new appearances of things.”
