As a child, I enjoyed drawing, but never had the opportunity to take lessons. A childhood friend did take lessons and created beautiful oil paintings that I was mesmerized by. Over the years, the desire to learn to paint lingered in the back of my mind. Life happened, and here it is, years later. In 2004 I decided that it was time to learn to paint. Thanks, J. Carter. Yes, Anna''s (aka Xaomena) photography and compositions are outstanding. I purchased the rights to 3 of her photographs for my paintings. I have finished 2 of them, and am working on the third. I do some of my own set-ups, but am a novice at them!
