About Me

After working in the health sciences for many years, I decided that it was time for me to turn to the arts. I began to paint in 2001, and now spend the majority of my time painting and learning. I love it! I began with watercolour, then egg tempera, and now am painting in oils as well. There is always something new to see and then work to capture it on paper or canvas.

I like the way in which you have created a spirit of light and lightness, especially your paintings of light passing through the prism of glass with a myriad of relfections. The humid summer air of Auvergne is captured well in an impressionistic style. Thanks for sharing. Allan
