I'm a painter currently living in New York City trying to expand my horizons as an artist. I have been painting in oil for about ten years and it is still a learning process every time I sit down to work. There is so much to learn in this medium that at times it feels overwhelming but at the end it is well worth it. Luis, your painting with the onion on the plate on the towel is awesome. It seems that I can actually feel the texture of the towel. I''m just starting out and hope to be able to paint like you someday.
