Marilene Sawaf is an interior designer by education and has been painting for the past 3o years. She is a member of the New Hampshire Art association and the Copley Society of Boston. I have worked in stained glass and have sought out many of the great stained glass cathedral windows of Europe. Your art work caught my eye immediately with its brilliant luminous colours. The beatific serenity expressed on the gentle faces of your Renaissance and Mediaeval ladies seems to conflict with the lively patterned garments, tiaras, and halos, but no, it succeeds very well. I really like this innovative take on the female persona. Thanks for sharing. - Allan
