The interplay of sunlit surfaces against dark shadows draws the viewer into your darker world, searching for clues to deciphering your work. Representing icons of European art in your art suggests further meanings, messages and codes. Even the atmospheres recall Vermeer, and Caravaggio. "Ole E. Petterson" is beautifully dark.
