About Me

This painting is "Rumors of War". It is a raven and a moose skull. We must not waste our resources on destruction. I have always painted. They attempted to make me into an abstract expressionist in college but I loved to draw too much to follow that route. I think the training helped my compositions however. My main influences have been Van Gogh, Cezanne, the Scandinavian Impressionists and the Canadian Group of Seven. There have been others as well along the way and there will be more in the... more
