Thanks, Frank! Chubby (Rita) was my beloved Jewish grandmother who I believed shaped my view of life. Strong, hardworking, kind hearted and generous she raised her family alone (John Henry, my grandfather died young)thru the depression until she died in the early 60''s. When I use to do outdoor arts and crafts shows I would tell people she had her hand in her pocket because she was holding on to her money, ha. I would show her small leather change purse to them. I loved her dearly. I have had many offers to buy her but I love the painting too and I won''t sell her.

I have a few keepers too.They always bring on a flood of memories.It''s tough when you have to pay the light bill but they can never be duplicated.Say maybe you could make a giclee print of that? Keep painting!~
