Hi. My name is Shirley. I have been painting since my teen years but determination to develop my skill has helped me to gain more focus during the past five years. I work out of my studio in Texas, my preferred medium is oil. I gain inspiration from color and the mood light and dark creates. I enjoy painting still life subjects in the traditional way of the old masters. I also love to capture natures beauty through landscapes and flowers.
