I paint.. often using the symbols of fish and birds... This is based on a belief that these beasts.. assembled on the fifth day of creation in the genesis story... are enmeshed in some kind of conflict.. these fishy birds exist in all of us... and act out there drama in my paintings.. they have become my vehicle to explore this world that we are constantly in the process of creating...
